  1. 1977 – The Muriwai Motel Sonnets (Poems and Drawings), 1980 – Corrigendum (Poems and Drawings),1987 – Thirteen or so Poems to in between. (Eighteen Poems – 32 pages,1987 – Recoil (Long Poem – and six collages – 24 pages), 1987 – Elegy (Long Poem – 19 pages),1987 – Rotlands (Long Poem – 24 pages) 2010 – The Desert (Long Poem-100 copies), 2016 - The Desert, 2nd edition.

  2. Angathology of Auckland Poets – Editor and contributor and cover illustrator - a collection of poems read on Queen Street by Auckland poets of the late seventies. Auckland City Council and One Eyed Press.

  3. Arranged and ran poetry readings at the Auckland Public Library, 1980-81. Poets included Winston Curnow, Carl Stead, Iain Sharp etc.

  4. Editor of Flash the precursor of the Auckland Inner City News

  5. Take a risk, Use your language, Make a Poem. By Michael Harlow.  Editor and illustrator. Publ. Christchurch Teachers College. Won PEN first book prize

  6. Published five novels: The Hour of the Grey Wolf, Wolves in Dogs Clothing, Thrown to the Wolves, Overcast Sunday, One Tiger / Two Tails.

  7. Set up in 1977 and runs One Eyed Press.

  8. Published the poetry works of Mark Williams, Iain Sharp, Peter Olds, Wyn Jones, Konrad Koeper, John Mahrer.

  9. Participated in Poetry Live at the Globe Hotel in Auckland organised by David Mitchell.

  10. He was an Executive member of the New Zealand Branch of PEN, now New Zealand Society of Authors (PEN New Zealand Inc.) lobbied for a variety of literary causes including the creation of NZ Authors’ Society, in the 1980s and was the founder of the Dunedin and Christchurch PEN branches.

  11. Set up and ran Poetry Live in Dunedin and Christchurch in 1981 and 1983.

  12. Art critic in Dunedin for Critic, 1981-1983 student newspaper “About the Galleries.”

  13. Established and was first Chairperson of the Dunedin and Christchurch Branches of NZ PEN now NZ Authors Society.’

  14. Contributed to two cross-ethnic anthologies (Designed the cover of one) in Cyprus between Greek and Turkish Cypriots. Weeping Island 2001, Nicosia Beyond  Barriers Voices from a Divided City, 2017.

  15. Cooperated with Fat Possum Press in Armidale/Australia run by Australian poet Michael Sharkey for cross-Tasman publication and distribution.

  16. Was winner of two major poetry competitions (The Whitireia Polytechnic Poetry Prize judged by Keri Hulme and) the Te Awamutu Poetry Prize 1980) and a Takahe short story prize

  17. Contributed to Te Ara biographical encyclopedia of New Zealanders.

  18. Contributor to Paul Morris and Harry Ricketts’ NZ Anthology of religious writing.
